Large Format Printing
Our large-format printers are capable of producing bright, vivid signs on a range of different materials, including mesh and vinyl, pressure-sensitive vinyl, paper, polystyrene, Coroplast, Foam board, aluminum, specialty fabrics, and countless other substrates.
Our advanced HP 570 wide format printer is a high-speed machine with a highly efficient workflow process allowing jobs to be printed unattended outside of regular business hours. Using special latex inks, the HP 570 delivers vibrant colours and consistent high-quality results. We also have a state-of-the-art Agfa Anapurna M2 hybrid wide format UV printer that produces stunning results on a variety of rigid materials, including corrugated boards, plastics, and metals. This versatile printer can also print on film, vinyl, paper, banners, and many other flexible materials.
Our cutting-edge latex and UV inks offer superior adhesion and durability; even when left untreated, our signs will resist fading, scratching, smearing, and cracking for years. Our seven-colour printers also allow for a higher concentration of colourants in the ink, which produce a wider range of rich, vibrant colours, guaranteed to match even the toughest spot colour specifications, including white.
Miller McConnell’s equipment also includes versatile laminating machines that will provide additional protection with a variety of finishes for large-format prints when long-term durability is needed.
Small-Format Printing and Custom Decals
At Miller McConnell Signs, our equipment really is a cut above. We have a variety of small-format thermal printers and vinyl cutters that allow us to print on pressure-sensitive vinyl and perform contour cutting of vinyl letters, decals, and labels of virtually any shape or size. Our state-of-the-art AXYZ Trident 4010 digital flatbed cutter is the most versatile “router knife hybrid” in the industry. This impressive machine has three separate cutting heads that allow it to route aluminum and acrylic along with cutting and trimming foamboard, vinyl, styrene, and rubber.
With our advanced printing and cutting equipment, we can produce all sorts of signs, graphics, and point-of-purchase sign products.
Braille and Tactile Sign Production
We are one of the only sign companies in Eastern Ontario that has in-house Braille and Tactile sign equipment. From environmentally friendly Photopolymer Braille and Tactile to Raster Braille and Tactile, we cover all the bases for accessibility signage or ADA signage. Our high-quality router and engraving machine meets all Canadian and American disabilities standards and can accurately engrave a variety of materials, including wood, acrylic, Plexiglass, and many other types of plastics and metals. We can also create and engrave 3D logos, lettering, and signage.
Digital Asset Management
At our Miller McConnell facility, our preflight and quality control department will ensure your digital assets are optimized for output, that your proofs are accurate, and that your files remain secure and accessible for future projects.
